Compassionate Presence
Two 8-week online courses for professionals, doulas and trained volunteers working in healthcare, social and human services and education.
Offered by Authentic Presence
Both courses offer contemplative tools for deepening professional skills and competencies in listening and responding to patients and clients. Research reveals ongoing contemplative practices including mindfulness or meditation can improve attention, increase compassionate responses, reduce stress, increase confidence in challenging situations.

CE Contact Hours
This course has been approved for 8 Continuing Education Contact Hours by the Association of Professional Chaplains and by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 15607. The Association for Death Education and Counseling® has deemed this program as counting toward the continuing education requirements for the ADEC CT and FT program.
