Slow Walk - Live podcast with Deanna Cochran and Michael Hebb

What is Slow Walk? In this soundbite world, wouldn't you like to linger a bit longer on topics that are worthy to unpack.

Join us for Episode #6 of Slow Walk, our long-form podcast lingering on topics worthy of unpacking, with special guest Kirsten Deleo. Kirsten is a meditation teacher, author, and trainer in the field of contemplative care. Her book, Present Through the End. A Caring Companion’s Guide for Accompanying the Dying, shares her decades of experience supporting terminally ill patients, which is inspired by her many years of Buddhist contemplative practice. Kirsten is also the host of Authentic Presence Podcast, which explores the deeper questions of human experience and caregiving.

We’d like to take a detour away from the predictable interview style that cuts to the chase and instead really get to know a topic from a variety of perspectives. Taking time to get to know who is talking, time to dive in deep to an aspect of living and dying that you may not get to hear about every day.

We don’t offer definitive answers or the 3 steps to “whatever” instead this is a journey into the mind and heart of people dedicated to living with serious illness, dying, death, and beyond.

Hosted by Michael Hebb, founder of Death Over Dinner and EOL.community and Deanna Cochran, RN and Founder of the CareDoula® School of Accompanying the Dying.
