Is it possible to come to terms with or even make friends with our own and others’ mortality?

We will all die, we just don’t know when or how. How would our lives change, if we took this reality to heart, even in small ways and well before it is imminent?

In the supportive environment of the natural beauty of the Beara peninsula, away from the busyness of everyday life, this special retreat is an open invitation to explore the deeper dimensions of dying and death.

In this process, we may come to discover that death and dying is actually about life and living; about finding the heart of life and being human.

The retreat welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. You will learn skilful ways to work with and transform fears and concepts around dying and death. It’s also an opportunity to look at what may hold you back and keep you from living fully and joyfully in this very moment.

The retreat includes guided reflections, contemplative practices, mindful movement exercises, and sacred inspiration drawn from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, short talks, practical resources, group discussions and periods of silence. There will be also time to rest and relax, and enjoy nature.

No prior meditation experience is required.
